My jewelry is influenced by the multiple layers and the melding of colors evident in the landscape that surrounds us. I recreate this in my work by layering a variety of metallic shapes, colors and textures in my jewelry. Using anodized aluminum, sterling silver, gold, copper, and brass in my San Francisco studio, I fasten and solder hand-cut shapes to create sensual, sculptural earrings, pins, and necklaces. Color is everywhere in my world and influences my design esthetic, along with architecture, Art Deco and an understated and clean contemporary look.
I have enjoyed being a jeweler for 35 years! Over this time, I have built a strong relationship with many of my wonderful customers. I love helping them choose what enhances their natural beauty and grace. With gratitude for their wonderful support, I have used their names for many of my pieces. |
